Summary

A teacher designs a new course and wants to prevent a mismatch between what/how is taught and the assessment of the pre-defined learning outcomes. Therefore, the teacher uses assessment as driver to develop the course and its content (Bergin et al., 2015b, p. 3).

Example for Technological Support

ATS2020 provides a macro-design template for developing assessment-driven course designs. Examples how it is used can be accessed at the ATS2020 Resource Portal.
